Many events happen in November that remind us what we can do to be good citizens. The first Tuesday in November is Election Day—that’s when adults go and vote to elect leaders to make laws, enforce them, and interpret what they mean.

Veteran’s Day is also this month on the eleventh. Veteran’s Day honors members of our armed forces who served defending our country. Expressing your gratitude to our service members is a great way to show good citizenship.

And of course who can forget a dog’s favorite holiday (table scraps…yum): Thanksgiving! Be sure to acknowledge all the people and things that you are thankful for during this month.
