December--Integrity, Responsible Decision Making and Choices and Accountability

Integrity means doin the right thing even when no one is watching. Sometimes we can be tempted to do things we know we should not do.

At this time of year we often hear about being “naughty” or “nice.” It is also a good time of the year to reflect on the previous year and deciding whether we are proud of all the choices we have made. When we make poor choices we may end up with an unpleasant consequence, such as being hungry and eating all the dog biscuits left out for Santa Paws, (looking at you Hunter the Hound). Or we might read 20 minutes every night we might have a better score on our vocabulary test as a result. Then we would feel proud rather than guilty—unlike in that dog biscuit situation.
